Our last conference of the year

This last Saturday, Ryder took part in their last MUN (Model United Nations) conference! He was part of the secretariat and had a great time!

I also love that he gets to do it with his best buddies! It was such a fun year and he’s excited for next year!

finally feeling better..

Eden had been sick for over a week, missing school and struggling with cold symptoms. We finally got in to see the doctor last Friday, and she was diagnosed her an ear and sinus infection. Antibiotics are on board and she’s finally feeling better.

EVERY TIME we go to the doctor, I say a prayer of gratitude for our family’s health.

a highlight of the day…

My morning walks are an absolute favorite and I love the little things I get to see if I'm just aware enough to see them:

This morning routine is an absolute favorite and one of the highlights of my day…

learning from our favorite bike mechanic

When Kit was about Ryder’s age, he started working at a bike shop. Now, so many years later, he’s always teaching Ryder how to do things…

I love watching them together. These father/son moments are just too precious to me!

can you still…?

We were getting everyone to head to bed which was SO much later than I would like because, you know, teenagers… And Ryder didn’t think Kit could carry him. Well, challenge excepted:

We could not stop laughing… This kid is growing so fast!

A big change for our little goalie…

Our girl received a contract with a new, top team to be a goalie. She was given a couple of amazing offers but this one seemed to be the one that would develop her goalie skills. We are so excited for this new opportunity for our girl. The bittersweet part about club soccer is when switches are made. We had an incredible first season of club soccer with the 2012 Pateadores RL team. She made a HUGE leap from AYSO and her coach was just SO proud of her. We called him Koko and he spent the year developing Eden as an incredible soccer player. Last week we had our last league practice and will be heading to our new team trainings. Saying goodbyes were really hard. Eden and I cried, which made Koko and and his wife cry but the affirmations and encouragement we are taking with us is just priceless!

We will miss this team, its families, and our coach, but we are SO excited about this new opportunity!

Slammers FC 2012, we are ready to join you!

Mother’s Day 2025

We had a sweet weekend. I was scheduled to work but we just went with it! Friday night we made home made pizzas! They are the sweetest…

I was on call for labor and delivery on Saturday. A lot of wait and see…
That night we got our favorite peruvian food the dinner!

Sunday was church and we received flowers that were hand made by my girl and a team of others… but first the kids spoiled me…

We ate burgers after church and just sat together laughing:
Then we headed home for rest, naps, tacos, face masks and movies…
It was a beautiful weekend and I’m so thankful that I get to be their mom!
