On Monday, Kit left for a conference in Colorado. I decided to do a fun dinner with treats for the kids, because even if it was just the 3 of us, that is still a celebration...❤︎

Snapshots of prepping for our last season...
Kit and Ryder have been having multiple practices and field care in preparation for the upcoming Majors season.
It's their last season on these fields and I love all the memories that have been made out here. We are excited about all that this last season will hold and we are so thankful for how much fun we have had out here as a family!

4 inch fun...
I have been playing with smaller embroidery sizes and making my own little designs to donate for our school's farmer market. This is what I have come up with:

A Super Bowl plan...
For this Super Bowl, Ryder had a plan to smoke chicken wings. All by himself...

Happy Valentine's Day! {Also a little of this and that...}
How amazing that we get a day to celebrate people that we love!
Their first Valentine's Day together, back in 2013:
We are looking forward to having our annual Valentines day King Crab feast this Friday. We can't wait! Eden is off to her class party and she is so excited.❤︎
Of course I had to get a picture before they left:
She was ready with her Valentines: (We had come home from church so she still had her mask on...)2.11.2022

I love that we get to take family walks in our neighborhood...

It's a long walk...
When I started nursing over 18 years ago, my first job was on the oncology unit, on the 5th floor. I would always take the stairs to take time to pray for my day and my shift. My current unit is part of a new wing that was built off of my old ward.
So to this day, I still take the stairs and use that time to pray, however, I am a little older ad my legs get a little more tired than they did almost 19 years ago...
