Ryder’s High School Soccer Banquet was on March 26th and it was so fun to celebrate these boys! Ryder was honored as the player with the highest GPA of all three teams as a Scholar Athlete, received the golden boot for goals scored, and his leadership as team captain and undefeated league champs. Who he is makes us so proud.
We are so excited for what is ahead, on and off the field.
On the 27th, we sent Ryder off to Spain. We took Eden out of school to have a special breakfast to celebrate his adventure.
We are so excited for our kid and all that is ahead for him! I know there will be a photo dump when he gets back for sure!
Today Ryder is headed, with his soccer team, to Spain for the MIC tournament. He is over the moon and we are so excited for his adventure but man will we miss him! For Christmas we got him his travel kit and headphones for the trip and it felt like it would be forever before he left… Now here we are.

We are heading into Spring Break and are excited for family time as we work, prep for Easter, and just spend time together (minus our big kid)…
Kit as been baking bread again and we are all SO happy about it! I even helped which is why our pre loaves weren’t that pretty…
Kit, you’re the absolute best!
Ryder has been attending extra skill training for soccer on Friday nights, so Kit and Eden have been utilizing the time to find a net a practice goalie touches. By the end, everyone feels more confident going into a game weekend. I usually take walks and watch everyone do their thing.
It has been a good rhythm for us and we enjoy the time together.
We had a weekend of games that took us from Newport and Irvine to Silver Lakes. Eden played up with 2011’s and 2010’s and did AMAZING! Ryder played two top teams and battled hard. Here are some snap shots:
After a long weekend of soccer, I’m trying to get back in the groove for the week, but really all I want to do is hang with this one…
We found a new spot for our Friday dates and it was SO good!

Whenever we take a little date around town, we take Huggs. He just makes it more fun. in this particular date, we went to our downtown and grabbed some dirty horchatas (horchata mixed with coffee) and then headed home for gardening.
