These faces...

 Last week the kids brought me their school pictures:

I realized that this will be Ryder's last elementary school photo.  I might have wanted to cry...
Then I went to update their school picture frames and Ryder's kindergarten photo was right on top:
I might have actually cried...
Time is going so fast!
Also Ryder got his 5th grade shirt:
Heaven help us all, I can't believe that he is going to be a middle schooler!

But what does she do all day?

 The kids are in school for about 2 1/2 hours, 4 days a week.  Eden recently was very concerned that I don't play with the bunny enough while they are at school.  So I captured some moments the other day so that Eden's little worries about me not interacting enough with our pet could be put to rest...

She played with the playhouse:

She accessorized with Eden's doll stuff:
And she read her favorite book:
Her days are very full and after Eden saw these, she was very happy that I don't neglect our family pet and that our bunny has fun while the kids are away...❤︎

Oh goodness...

I'll never understand how I got to be the lucky one to share life with these three... My heart is so full!

Fluffy bunny cuddles...

 This is where you find Eden right after she wakes up...

It's all about snuggles with her bunny...
It's a pretty fantastic way to start the day!❤︎

dominoes...

 a.k.a. every house project we have ever tackled!  WE are going to be doing a very large back yard update and each project has caused another project...

Here is our yard:

Here is a close up to the side fences:
Both fences have struggled with recent storms and Santa Ana winds...
Our back trees have started to crack the cinderblock wall with their roots.  So we will be removing the trees and replacing the fence with white vinyl fencing, 6 foot on the sides, 8 feet along the back wall.
These are the following projects to tackle:
~Remove the chicken coup
~Remove side shed
~plant podocarpus trees along the back wall
~Hardscape the two side gardens boarders
~redo the irrigation
~create space for a fire pit
~build a hangout shed (We are calling it a she shed and I am ok with that...❤︎)
~And wire bistro lights to cover the whole back area
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's a lot of projects and work, but we are really excited for the ability to utilize our backyard in a better way...
While I was at work a couple of Saturdays ago, kit and the kids took down the chicken coup and found new homes for the chickens.  We decided it was easier to have it down prior to tree removal.
Ryder and Eden were SO excited to use power tools:
So the back yard renovation dominoes has begun:
I am excited and a little daunted by the work and Kit is ECSTATIC because he has always hated these trees and has been the one to piece the fence together every time there is a problem...
Here's to the biggest game of dominoes we have played yet...
While the boys are away...
 Eden and I crafted the day away and enjoyed uninterrupted girl time.  We made an Amazon return at Kohls and we got to ride the escalator... Eden LOVES that thing...
Then we headed for a quick trip for craft supplies...
Then home for HOURS of crafting together...
She got these wooden dolls to paint and she had SO much fun picking out colors to paint their little outfits:
Then we played with perler beads. We made hearts for our upcoming Valentine's Day dinner:
The melting is always the favorite...
We ended up making 7 hearts total with 1 melted casualty...
After several hours of crafting and watching girly movies that the boys usually don't want to watch, we ended the night with dinner and spa time:
In-N-Out was requested for dinner:
She requested a pink and gold manicure:
And we finished the night with face masks:
The day was filled with such sweet moments of connecting with one another, talking about little things and big things and creating together...  I never want to forget, I think she said thank you for the day at least 20 times... We kept telling each other how much the day meant to each of us... I absolutely love making memories like these and we are already planning our next day of when we can kick the boys out of here so that we can enjoy more one on one time!  I love this girl of mine...❤︎
Celebrating people that we love...
 On Saturday, Ryder and Kit joined the Cleary and the Thrash men for a chukar hunting adventure in honor of Ethan Cleary's birthday.  Oh goodness did they have an AMAZING time!
The vehicle in which Uncle Mike used for the adventure...
They are getting older and it still stops me in my tracks...
Also, I cant still see their baby faces there still too...
What fun it was to celebrate people that we love!
(Jack, you were missed little man!)
