monday’s…

 After a long weekend of soccer, I’m trying to get back in the groove for the week, but really all I want to do is hang with this one… 

I know the cleaning and the meal

planning and grocery shopping and yard work will get done but for now, I’m

going to start my Monday here.

A new taco spot…

 We found a new spot for our Friday dates and it was SO good!

We can’t wait to go back!

Sunday rhythms

As a family, we have been attending the 5pm Sunday service for the high school service and so we can attend together, and afterward we grab dinner together. This last week we had poke at Uroku.

taking a drive…

 Whenever we take a little date around town, we take Huggs. He just makes it more fun. in this particular date, we went to our downtown and grabbed some dirty horchatas (horchata mixed with coffee) and then headed home for gardening.

scrimmages and more scrimmages...

 As the second half of league is approaching, each of the kid's coaches have been arranging scrimmages and games to get the players ready.  That means we are on the sidelines cheering our favorite players on. This last weekend was watching my favorite goalie: (I am the WORST at sports photos and videos but I really want to capture my girl…)

I am so thankful for players and families that we love that we get to spend these days with...

Time together for birthday traditions...

Over the weekend, Eden and I spent mother/daughter time to do some birthday shopping.  We have made this a tradition over the last few years and I love that she wants the one on one time with me, with lots of laughing and great conversations.  Our location of choice is Irvine Spectrum. 

Much of my time is sitting in a shaded spot with my book while my girl explores and I don’t have to hover…

We just love the time so much!

Getting an early start…

 We decided to plant our garden a little earlier this year and I am so excited to watch everything grow!

Also, a moment for my fig tree:

We planted tomatoes, peppers, basil and cilantro. We can’t wait!

I am just so happy for them!

 On Friday, Kit and I took the Huggs for our lunch date. It was my first time driving him. I think I’m as smitten as my guys are…

special time with mia and papa

 This last Sunday, our Mia and Papa came down to go to church with us and to take us to lunch to celebrate Eden’s birthday.

It was really sweet to be together!

Bump! Set! Spike!

 As soon as Eden got her cast off, she was so excited to play volleyball with friends at school. She made the All-Star team and she had so much fun!

It’s always so fun to do stuff with your besties…
