getting ready for trick-or-treating

The theme this year was "What I want to be when I grow up..."

Here is a little teaser of the costumes that they will wear today in their school parade, class parties, and then for trick-or-treating:

While Ryder practices...

...I get time with my girl.  Sometimes we go to the playground, sometimes she rides her bike while I run, and sometimes we go on a nature hike.  Recently she picked to go on a nature hike.  It was so sweet:

 Seeing things through her eyes is truly a magical experience...❤︎

Pumpkins Patch 2018

Last Friday, we picked the kids up early from school and headed to the Irvine Regional Park pumpkin patch.  We had gone for the first time last year and the kids had really enjoyed it.

It really put me in the Fall spirit and I'm excited for what these next few weeks hold!

handling it like champs...

 These kids had their dentist appointments on Tuesday.  To be honest, I still have PTSD from when I took Eden for her first appointment when she was about to turn three.

The kids did great and though Ryder had a cavity, and eden is missing two bottom permanent teeth, we were so happy that they are healthy and things were progressing how we would want them too.❤︎

Old Town Tustin Jamboree

Yesterday at School, the third graders recreated what it would be like to be in Tustin in the early 1900s.  Ryder wore a plaid shirt and suspenders from a wedding that Kit was in.  He looked AWESOME!

We were in charge of setting up a general store for the kids to get items for their lunches...

Ryder's classroom was set up as the one room school house:

It was so fun to be apart of it!

It feels like Christmas came early...

Every time I get their school pictures, I feel like Christmas came early!

I can't tell you how much I love their little faces and toothy smiles...❤︎ 

all dreams and expectations...

After a long Sunday, I watched Kit carry the kids up to bed.  It melted my heart.  Kit has exceeded any dream or expectation I have ever had or dreamt...❤︎

Also, October 17 marked the 20th anniversary of Kit asking me to be his girlfriend.  I am feeling all the feelings for this man!

Last Friday night, Eden and I attended a mother/daughter evening at our church.

Flower crowns, face painting, worship, card making, and sweet treats made for such a special evening:

It was such a special evening and we loved every second of it together!
