This last Saturday night, Kit headed up to the Sierras for a quick backpacking/hunting trip. I decided to create a special Sunday morning experience for the kiddos that took "church" to a local nature center, read from the Jesus Storybook Bible, and have some time of art! We also enjoyed hiking around the trails!
The morning started with a special breakfast:

We spent time reading about God creating the earth and the kids used art pads to draw things that they had seen on our hike that God had made.
We had such a sweet day in a beautiful place... I missed being with our church community but I think that the one on one time is what my kiddos needed going into the new week. How good it is to have these moments of family connection time!
