We are back for one of our families favorite spots! We have been going to this beach, to the same house for the last 6 years and each year it is such a highlight for us!
Here were some of the special moments that we had on our trip!
All the time that we spent at the beach boogie boarding, building sand castles, playing Irish darts and Smash ball, reading and just watching the kids chase the waves...
Keeping score made the game so FUN!
We went to the Annual Salsa Festival we we tasted award winning salsa from national grand champs!
Her face says, "Can I just eat my salsa without a photo?"
And on our way out we saw Elsa.
Her day was made!
We ate at Toppers Pizza, which has become a tradition for our family:
We spent one day in Santa Barbara, where we started the day at Rori's Artisanal Creamery in Montecito. It was so good!
Then we headed to the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History:
To see the butterflies:
Eden could have say all day watching these butterflies:
We met a t-Rex from Chicago named Sue, the most completed Dinosaur with 95% of her bones found:
looking through the eyes of dinosaurs:
Then we headed to the outdoor area for climbing and playing in their creek and watched the kiddos play in the out door kitchen and look at birds:
Then we headed for an early dinner at Padaro Beach Grill in Carpenteria. It was a perfect way to end our Santa Barbara day!
We rode ou bikes to Pirate Park and while the littles played on the playground, the adults played Smash ball:
Eden had her first experience with Guesstures and it was probably up there with one of the cutest things I have seen:
I can't tell you how much we look forward to this week each year and how sad I am when it comes to an end. We have spent the last 9 years going to Oxnard and 6 of them have been in the same house. Our family hopes to make many memories here in the future and we could not be more thankful to our Mia and Papa for making this week one of the highlights of our year!

In the evenings, we played games, watched movies, made amazing meals and just enjoyed being together!Eden had her first experience with Guesstures and it was probably up there with one of the cutest things I have seen:
I can't wait to get back to this view:
