Over the summer, the kids became acquainted with Joe-Joe's from Trader Joe's: dunked in milk, sitting together, enjoying the chocolatey goodness. This box brings such smiles in our house:
We love the pumpkin ones this time of year, and the peppermint ones at Christmas time, but these originals make my little people so happy!
The other evening, while Kit was in Colorado, with the kids missing their daddy, we pulled out this box and you know what? We sat for ten minutes and talked about the highlights of the day and what they were excited to do with Kit when he got home, and what they missed the most about him being gone. I know it wasn't the one cookie they ate that made that moment special, it was the time together, where we just paused and sat and enjoyed being with each another. It will take a long time for me to eat a Joe Joe and not think about those 10 minutes, where time just seemed to slow down a little, and I just got to talk with my babies.

The things they missed and what they were looking forward to:
Ryder: watching football and camping movies while snuggling and wrestling.
Eden: eating together and daddy praying and when he "holds you".
