This saturday we got to be part of two incredibly special events:
First, on saturday morning, we had the privilege of praying for and commissioning our close friends as they get closer to being matched in their domestic adoption process.
It was truly a holy experience... I cried. A lot. Blubbery tears. Lots of them.
I can't wait to meet the new member of their family
Then that evening, we watched two of our friends from church get married at the Big Canyon Country Club in Newport Beach :

They had a man doing magic, and not just any guy, but the guy who trains magicians from the Magic Castle in Los Angeles. It was AMAZING!
