Celebrating our girl...

 Last week, we got to celebrate our Eden turning 10!  We started the day with birthday doughnuts and balloons:

After school, her close friend brought her a boba drink.  Then at soccer practice, one of the sweet mamas brought cupcakes and the girls all sang to her...

She was elated!

Then we finished the day at Avila's for great food and fried ice cream!

It was such a sweet day, celebrating our girl...  What a gift it to to have this girl in our life and what an honor that we get to have a front row seat to watch the incredible human being that she is growing up to be...❤︎

I love that they have each other...

Oh these two... 

God knew that they would need each other, and to witness their friendship grow is the sweetest thing to witness...

How is my baby girl TEN!?! 

My girl, beautiful inside and out... You are a delight and a joy.  You are kind, highly relational, nurturing and you are the FUNNIEST person I know. You are fierce and strong and courageous and brave.  You are tender and passionate about things that matter most. The Lord is writing an incredible story with your life and I love the woman that you are growing up to be.  You are so loved, You were waited for and wanted so deeply... I am so grateful to be your mama and I learn from you everyday what it is to love others well.

 Sometimes I bring a bunny with me on Wednesdays to pick Ryder up from school.  This last week I brought Jelly Belly:

Where it all started...

 On Saturday, we went to Biola to watch the Biola vs. Azusa game with our Biola family.  We had lots fun together!  

We ate dinner in the Caf first... So many memories of meals shared together!

The energy in the gym brought us right back to our college days...

I love these moments together with this family of ours!!

King Crab Valentine Celebration

 Last Friday night we had our annual Valentine's Day Kind Crab celebration.  I love that we prepare it together:

We have been doing this tradition since before Ryder was born...

I love evenings like these that are filled with traditions and the making of memories together.

Valentine's Dinner...

 On Monday, Kit left for a conference in Colorado.  I decided to do a fun dinner with treats for the kids, because even if it was just the 3 of us, that is still a celebration...❤︎

I made a special garland with fabric that Eden and I picked out because I realized that I didn't have any red garlands.

I wanted Valentines without hearts...❤︎

I also used strips of the fabric for the napkins...

The best part of the night was looking up Valentine trivia and history, from the silly to the serious...

We laughed so hard.

We had so much fun. I love these two so much!
