When we moved into our Fullerton house in 2004, our grandpa Pierce had built us one of his famous bird houses. Over the years it had housed bees, birds and rats. We realized that it needed a little rebuild and facelift:
So we powered washed it:
Then headed to Home Depot to find plants to go around it as well as on it's ledges...

I can't wait for the flowers to grow in and for the succulents to get fuller in their boxes... Also, our orange tree is SO heavy with blossoms that our yard could not smell more amazing! Spring is here and it feels like summer is around the corner!
