We love every second that we get to be here:
We are back from Shaver and we had the best time! We spent the first few days with our Biola Family. Before our friends arrived, we spent the day in town.
We went to the sports store to stock up on flies:
We went to the museum:
They have so much fun doing the scavenger hunt together and finding all the answers to the questions...
We grabbed ice cream at Ken's and then sat and played games:
We got a bouquet of flowers from our meadow:
Then our friends arrived and we had so much fun with everyone being together:
The Jone's came late and the Thrashes had covid, but we enjoyed each second from the time everyone arrived...
We spent our first full day at the lake:
That evening, a storm came in. We got pizza and played games and had a great time!
The rain continued into the next day. We played more games, and watched movies and the girls even snuck out for connection time with coffee:
After the rain stopped, we headed to Dinkey Creek to swim and fish:
The Warks had to leave from the creek so we got a group shot before:
We headed home from the creek to take a walk to see the sunset and the guys did some off roading:
After spending the next morning connecting with our friends before they left, we headed out to the back country to sight in Ryder's .22 and Kit's hunting rifle.
The next day we headed to El-O-Win for swimming and fishing and I think we found a new set of pools that we just adored!
That night we went horseback riding. We did it last year for the first time and we had all loved it. I think that it is now a tradition.
We are already planning our ride next year.
We spent the next day at the Burn. It's our favorite place on the mountain.
On our last day, we had a slow morning, and then ended at the lake for an afternoon swim, fishing, and BBQ dinner with a view to watch the sunset:
We have loved every second of this trip. I am so grateful for all the memories that we were able to make and for all the traditions were were able to keep. We can't wait to be back!
