Oh goodness, we have such fun plans for today! I am so excited to be off today and tomorrow with my family. On the plan for today: baking, wrapping presents, candle light service at church (with masks and distancing of course), crafting, watching movies, and most importantly, reading the Christmas story in Luke to prepare our hearts for what we are celebrating!
Speaking of the Christmas story, we got to see something pretty historical this last Monday night: the Christmas star!
Where Jupiter and Saturn align to create a bright star! It hasn't happened in over 800 years and historians say that this alignment is the star that led people to the manger of Jesus!
It was so sweet to see it and to watch Ryder help his sister see it.
I have so much hope and joy in my heart as we step into these next few days, celebrating the birth of our Savior!
