Tuesdays are usually my day to work, however when the census is low or the unit is over staffed, and since I am Per Diem, I am first to be called off or placed on stand by call.
That was the case this morning...
It can be hard for me to mentally switch my plans or expectations for the day. However, this morning, I took my coffee outside while my family slept, and took time to commit the day to Jesus.
No matter what the day holds, I find if I stop to give it to him, it can make all the difference...
I'm trying to do that on days that aren't work days too...❤︎
