Getting ready...

Over the last few weeks we have been slowly thinking about the new school year.  We have gotten our school supplies, filled out our return forms for the first day, had our doctor's visits, and purchased uniforms. (We go to a public school and I LOVE that uniforms are required... It makes shopping so much easier!) Through the summer we have also been doing a reading program and some packet work for reading and math.

 We felt like we needed to celebrate all that we had prepared for.❤︎

(Also, eating out on a night where kids eat free will always be a good idea...)

So Mexican food at Avila's El Ranchito was just what we did!  

 Complete with tic-tac-toe tournament...

I am so proud of these kiddos.  I can't believe that school starts in just a few weeks and we will have a 2nd and 4th grader...

Family day!

After a week of the kids being with their grandparents and cousins in Redlands doing all sorts of fun adventures, we all got together on Friday for a family meal and time to hang out!
We spent time in the pool talking and playing...

And we ate amazing food together!

It was so good to be with our family and it was so good to be reunited with our kids!

Last week the kids were in Redlands and were loved on and spoiled by our family! 

From adventures away, to movie nights, craft times, games,  and slumber parties, it was such a special week!

Eden got to go to a play at the Redlands Bowl to see "Singing in the Rain" with all the girls:

While Ryder got to be home and watch "Miracle" and get his Mia and Papa to himself:

They also got to go to the beach with their friends for a bonfire:

Our family is the absolute best and I can't believe how much fun they had over the course of the week!

Thank you family for how you spoiled our babies!

While the kids are away...

The kids spent this week with their grandparents and cousins in Redlands. Ryder and Eden asked what we would do while they were gone.  They very quickly answered their own question, "I bet you guys are going to do date nights with lots of kissing..."
Yep, yep we did... They know us really well!❤︎

I had a really great view at the pool...

I dreamed of married life being one that we would be exited to have adventures traveling all over the world, but also loving an evening of takeout and spending an evening at home...

He is a gift to me and I can't imagine life without him!

The "Face App"

Recently an app went viral for how it can change your face, specifically how it could show you what you would look like as an "old" version of yourself...

The kids and I got such a kick out of it!
