This last Friday we went on a field trip with Ryer's preschool to a local farm to take a tour and pick strawberries. We had gotten rained out a few weeks ago and Ryder had been so sad about it. Needless to say, even though it was over cast, and drizzled a tiny bit, we were THRILLED to be able to go!
We are in the season where Ryder loves that I get to go and be his "chaperone" on his field trips. I know my days are numbered on that one so I eat it up!
We have only been here for the pumpkin patch and just had the best time doing something completely different!
With his teacher... We love our Mrs. Stewart!
Little buddies...
The tractor ride and tour!
Getting lots of tastes of the things that the farm grows.
We were really excited about the carrots and the celery.
Then it was time for strawberries!
Field trips are so fun! I love getting to watch him in the independence that he has developed at school, seeing him with his little friends and getting to watch him learn about new and exciting things...
I am getting so nostalgic about Kindergarten starting and closing this sweet chapter of preschool. He has had the best experience and we are so thankful for our little school and how it has set him up to LOVE learning. We are going to savor these last few weeks...♥
